*There is NO COST to attend and be evaluated for tryouts when registered by June 1st. After June 1st, there is a $25/player fee to tryout. Advance registration is required to tryout.*
About Team 91 Charlotte:
Developing great lacrosse players. It's what we do. As Charlotte's Leader in Lacrosse Instruction we take pride in helping athletes become better lacrosse players. We have focused on TWO key areas over the last 15+ years on our way to becoming the area's largest and most successful club lacrosse program: Development and Fun.
Every practice and training session focuses on fundamental instruction, optimizing repetitions and developing the lacrosse IQ of our players.
We also make development FUN! We try to make every training session fun for our players with the philosophy that if our players, at all ages, are having fun, the sky is the limit on what they can accomplish throughout each and every season. If they love being at practices and training sessions, they will love playing the game.
Focusing on development and keeping lacrosse fun has allowed our players to enjoy unprecedented success at the collegiate level. With the support of our Team 91 staff, we have had over 100+ players commit to play college lacrosse over our last 4 classes at some of the best schools in the country including UNC, Duke, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Army, Richmond, Middlebury, W&L and more. Team 91 Charlotte Travel Tryout Details:
For our 2037, 2036, 2035 graduation years, players will be evaluated for 2026 Fall-Only rosters. Summer tryouts for these grad years will take place once the Fall season has been completed with a separate tryout process over the late Fall / early Winter.
For our 2034, 2033, 2032 and 2031 graduation years players will be evaluated for either 2026 Fall-Only rosters OR 2026/2027 Year-Round rosters. We host two teams per grad year at the MS ages but at these developmental ages. Invitations will details Fall-Only vs. Year-Round.
For our 2030, 2029, and 2028 grad years, players will be evaluated for YEAR-ROUND rosters, two teams per grad year, that will compete during both the 2026 Fall and 2027 Summer seasons.
Each team will attend events that are appropriate for their competitive level.
2030-2028 Tryouts - Monday, June 22nd
Location & Times:
Mecklenburg Co. Sportsplex
Fields 1-4 (2425 Sports Pkwy, Matthews, NC 28105)
2030 players will have their tryouts from 6:30-8:30PM on Fields 1
2029 players will have their tryouts from 6:30-8:30PM on Fields 3
2028 players will have their tryouts from 7:00-8:30PM on Fields 4
Team Invitations:
Players will be notified of their selection by June 27th, if not earlier, with a deposit due two days after receiving your invitation in order to hold your position on the team. A second round of invitations will be sent out once that deposit due date has passed.
**Please note that we do understand these timeframes are tight but we do wish to respect the interest from tryout attendees that will be eagerly waiting to hear an update regarding their team invitation or further opportunities**

2037, 2036 and 2035 players will tryout from 5:30-7:00PM on Field 1/2
2034 and 2033 players will tryout from 6:30-8:00PM on Field 3
2032 players will tryout from 7:00-8:30PM on Field 1
2031 players will tryout from 7:00-8:30PM on Field 2

Team 91 South: Our Team 91 South program was created to give the best players in the Southeast an opportunity to play and train together while creating lifelong friendships and memories. For players interested in tryouts out for Team South in Charlotte, tryouts will be held on July 26th at the Mecklenburg Co. Sportsplex. More information will be announced and linked here.
Team 91 National: Team 91 Charlotte players interested in playing on a Team 91 National team will be evaluated during our Team 91 Charlotte tryouts with more information to follow once all 91 Charlotte and 91 South evaluations have been completed. To be considered for a Team 91 National team, a player must play with a Team 91 program.
