About Team 91 Charlotte:
For 15+ years, we have been working hard to raise the level of lacrosse in the Carolinas. We couldn't be more excited to take the next step in the women's game with travel teams beginning in the Fall of 2026.
Developing great lacrosse players. It's what we do. As Charlotte's Leader in Lacrosse Instruction we take pride in helping athletes become better lacrosse players - men's and women's. We have focused on TWO key areas over the last 15+ years on our way to becoming the area's largest and most successful club lacrosse program: Development and Fun.
Every practice and training session focuses on fundamental instruction, optimizing repetitions and developing the lacrosse IQ of our players.
We also make development FUN! We try to make every training session fun for our players with the philosophy that if our players, at all ages, are having fun, the sky is the limit on what they can accomplish. If they love being at practices and training sessions, they will love playing the game.
We have separated ourselves from other programs in two key areas:
- Communication - Details are important. Our full time staff makes sure that parents have everything they need, when they need it. Our parents and players know when practice is, where practice is, where events are and what they honestly receive when they are part of our program.
- Value - Youth sports can be expensive. We have always taken pride in delivering an exceptional youth sports experience for what families are being asked to pay. Some of our teams are more than $1,000 cheaper than other programs with similar (or fewer) opportunities to play and train.
Team 91 Charlotte Travel Tryout Details:
For our 2037, 2036, 2035 and 2034 graduation years, players will be evaluated for 2026 Fall-Only rosters. Summer tryouts for these grad years will take place once the Fall season has been completed with a separate tryout process over the late Fall / early Winter for the 2027 Spring and Summer season.
For our 2033-2028 rosters, players will be evaluated for 2026/2027 Year-Round rosters.

The Mid-Year Solution
We understand that some club programs hold tryouts on a different calendar (Winter tryouts vs. Summer tryouts). If you are interested in playing on a Team 91 Charlotte Girls team but feel "locked" in to another team due to a payment plan, reach out to Charlotte@team91lacrosse.com to learn about our solution options.
2037-2028 Tryouts - Monday, June 22nd
Location & Times:
Mecklenburg Co. Sportsplex
Fields 1-4 (2425 Sports Pkwy, Matthews, NC 28105)
2037-2034 players will have their tryouts from 5:30-7:00PM on Field 4
2033-2031 players will have their tryouts from 5:30-7:00PM on Field 2
2030-2028 players will have their tryouts from 7:00-8:30PM on Field 2
Supplemental Tryouts: June 29th from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Field 3 & 4
Team Invitations:
Players will be notified of their selection by June 27th, if not earlier, with a deposit due two days after receiving your invitation in order to hold your position on the team. A second round of invitations will be sent out once that deposit due date has passed.
**Please note that we do understand these timeframes are tight but we do wish to respect the interest from tryout attendees that will be eagerly waiting to hear an update regarding their team invitation or further opportunities**

Team 91 Charlotte Supplemental Tryout Opportunities: Families and players that cannot attend our Team 91 Charlotte select tryouts are encouraged to email us at Charlotte@Team91Lacrosse.com to learn about additional evaluation opportunities in advance of tryouts.

2026/2027 Year Round Girls Team Fees: $3,175-$3,550 per player (price will vary depending on specific team, schedule and roster size)
2026 Fall Only Girls Team Fees: $1,325-$1,450 per player (price will vary depending on specific team, schedule and roster size)
Additional Team 91 Playing Opportunities:
Team 91 South: Our Team 91 South program was created to give the best players in the Southeast an opportunity to play and train together while creating lifelong friendships and memories. For players interested in tryouts out for Team 91 South Girls team, tryouts will be held on August 2nd at the Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run, NC.
Team 91 National: Team 91 Charlotte players interested in playing on a Team 91 National team will be evaluated during our Team 91 Charlotte tryouts with more information to follow once all 91 Charlotte and 91 South evaluations have been completed. To be considered for a Team 91 National team, a player must play with a Team 91 program.
