2024 Team 91 Girls Winter Advanced Academy
Who We Are: Developing great lacrosse players. It's what we do. As Charlotte's Leader in Lacrosse Instruction, we take pride in helping athletes become better lacrosse players and we are excited to expand that to the women's game. Our Team 91 Girls Academy Training Programs and 10:1 Player:Coach Ratio creates the optimal balance of instruction, repetition and competition.
Defining the Advanced Academy: Whether you are stepping on to the field in live play for the first time or looking to improve your skills before the upcoming Spring season, the Team 91 Charlotte Girls Advanced Academy is the best training environment to take your game to the next level this Fall!
Our Advanced Academy program expands on the introductory level skills that a player may have learned during our Team 91 Intro Academy, Day Camp or Ducks Spring Rec program. Now that players should have some basic level of comfort with the fundamentals needed to play, we'll challenge them with pressure stick work drills, live ground ball and transition work as well as introducing advanced concepts like 2v2 and 3v3 game play. The Advanced Academy is intended for players in 1st-5th graders that have played before or participated in an Intro Academy program, or 6th-8th graders that are picking up the sport for the first time and want to prepare for the upcoming Spring season.
What We'll Do This Winter: We'll go beyond the basic fundamentals in our Advanced Academy program. During our six week training period players will experience the following:
- Detail Oriented Stickwork and Pressure Passing Drills
- Coaching Drills and Proper Contact Practices
- Live Play - We will conclude each Saturday with live play in even and uneven play formats alongside games of 7v7 or International Sixes play!
Player Details:
1st-2nd Graders: Players that have completed at least one introductory training program, camp week or Free Clinic.
3rd-5th Graders: We welcome players grades 3rd-5th that have completed a minimum of one recreational lacrosse season, a Team 91 Intro Academy or Summer Camp.
6th-8th Graders: The Advanced Academy is also open to 6th-8th graders who may be putting on playing for the first time or are seeking offseason reps ahead of their Middle School season. We will group players appropriately based on age, experience, and skill.

$225 before November 4th, $250 after November 4th.
